Although Ben and I loved riding in style with our ladder strapped to the roof of the Focus, we decided it was time for a few upgrades; we needed to look a bit more professional. The first upgrade was the truck that I posted about earlier, our new Honda Ridgeline. We thought that the truck would make it a lot easier to get the ladder in and out when going to and from work. Unfortunately, it wasnt much easier then the Focus had been. The ladder stuck out of the bed pretty far, so it was a little difficult to find parking spots and Ben still had to strap it down really well so it wouldnt fly out the back:)
So to fix that Ben ordered our second upgrade online and had it sent to the hotel we were staying at. Today the package arrived and we headed over to Lowes to buy the tools and set it up! The directions said it would take 45 minutes, it only took us 4 hours:) But we got it done and here is our newest addition: The ladder rack.
