We left early on Monday August 29th from California and arrived around 3:00pm in the afternoon to Richmond, Virginia. We made it safely across the country with no problems, Praise God! We got settled into our hotel, went grocery shopping and then came to find out that night that we were moving up to Elkton, Maryland for the claims. The Logan’s have family friends who live there so we headed out to stay with them on Thursday, September 1st. Mark and Lori Fisher have 4 sons and 1 daughter and while we were there I was able to meet all but one of their family. We enjoyed games of hand and foot, Settlers, home cooked meals, fellowship, laughter and fun with the Fisher’s and are so thankful to be able to stay in a home with such a fun and Godly family. Watching their example and the way they raise their children has really taught me a lot and made me more excited to be a parent. I really value the relationships they have with their children and appreciate their openness, honesty, and hospitality towards us, especially as we came to stay for two weeks on such short notice!
